CHARLIE ANDERSON
Audio Engineer|Producer|Sound Designer
About Me.
Throughout my career in audio-visual and show production, I've had the privilege of working on some fantastic projects, including Comic-Con and LEAD San Diego. I began my career as an audio-visual technician providing support for various events. I have served as Assistant Director of A.V. services at Marriot Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, GA, and later served as the Director of A.V. services at Red Lion Hanalei San Diego, CA.
As a U.S. Navy veteran, I hold certifications in Avid Pro Tools and Networking and Computer Technology from CompTIA. I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor's degree in Audio Production where I gained valuable skills in audio recording, editing, mixing, mastering as well as sound design for games.
I have a true passion for music. From a young age, I constantly tinkered with audio equipment and electronics, attempting to create mixtapes and sounds. As a Mississippi native, I naturally gravitate towards gospel quartet and southern soul and blues music. These genres are deeply rooted in my life as well as the music I produce. I aim to provide high-quality audio that "Touch The Soul" of all who listen. Stay tuned for exciting news and content from Soul Spot Entertainment and me!

I created a radio sweeper, concert promo, and station ID drop while learning audio production at Full Sail University. The radio sweeper features a catchy hook and sound effects to grab the listener's attention. The concert promo has a high-energy voiceover and music to create excitement for the upcoming event. The station ID drop includes a professional voiceover and sound effects to reinforce the station's brand. The skills used to create these include scriptwriting, voiceover recording, sound design, music production, and audio editing.
GAME AUDIO DESIGN
This is a sound redesign demo of the cinematic and gameplay for the game "The Blacksmith". The Blacksmith features the elven smith Völund from Norse mythology, known for his extraordinary skill at crafting magic weapons. As our character sits in his barn-like domain he hears a cry from his enemy. He rises and moves forward releasing the magical spell of the floating shards around him. As he makes his way toward the door to face his foe in a battle to the death. My contributions included sound effects editing, foley, final mix, audio asset design, nonlinear mixing, and basic implementation using Audiokinetic Wwise.
